MY SMP JOURNEY
For years I held onto my hair, i was receding at a young age and I didn't want to admit it. I would use all the product in the world including roots spays and push my hair forward to cover my forehead. I was so self conscious about going out into the wind as my hair would flap up like a toupee. About 5 years ago my hair dresser at time convinced me to shave my head, I cried cause it was insecure about my big head but at the same time felt this freedom around my hair I hadn't felt for a very long time!
I wanted to look into hair transplants but i was quoted $14,000 and this wasn't going to bring my hairline down any further. It was just to fill in the receding gaps. I couldn't afford this and thats when i found out about Scalp Micropigmentation. Much more affordable and can create that hairline I have always wanted. It truly was a moment for me. This is when my life happened to cross paths with Abbie Gardner. It was fate! I started my SMP journey and I knew i was in great hands. I was amazed after the first session and each session my confidence came back even more.
SMP changed my life! Our hair is an important part not only of how we look, but also of how we feel and our identity, so when we start thinning, balding or receding at any age it can really put a dent in our confidence. It was this experience that made me want to help others who feel the same, which is why I now also do SMP. I am so passionate about my Mahi and i know exactly how my clients feel and I can relate to them, This makes me want to do my absolute best work on all my clients and help change lives one head at a time!
